Low-vision care seminar

The latest advances in low vision care will be highlighted at an upcoming seminar from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wed., July 18 at AlmaVia of Camarillo, 2500 Ponderosa Drive North.

Free and open to the public, the seminar will be presented by Dr. Marty Schneider of Camarillo Vision Center.

Providing low vision care for the partially sighted since 1992, Schneider is one of three doctors in the county who work with the Department of Rehabilitation to provide services to people with visual impairment.

He will be joined by John Wolfe of Eyetech Low Vision Devices, who will speak on the latest reading devices for low vision.

Schneider has been practicing in Camarillo for more than 20 years. Camarillo Vision Center is at 2460 E. Las Posas Road.
