Decision on charter schools postponed

      The Pleasant Valley School District board of trustees postponed its decision on the approval of University Charter Middle School and University Preparation School at Channel Islands at a special meeting last week.

Music conference at church
      The annual Conference of the National Association of Church Musicians will be held Thurs. through Sat., July 19 to 21 at the Camarillo United Methodist Church, 291 Anacapa Drive. The public is invited to a free concert at 7:15 p.m. Fri., July 20 in the church sanctuary.
