Controversial issues to be debated in church Two leaders of the Camarillo United Methodist Church will debate several controversial issues in public forums at 7 p.m. Mondays, July 9 and 16 in Howald Parlor at 291 Anacapa Drive, Camarillo. The Rev. Jim DeckerMahin, senior pastor, and Bill Garlington, youth and adult ministries coordinator, will discuss right to life, right to love, right to bear arms and justified death during the forums, which are open to the public and free of charge.
