Language program to expand

Information sessions to introduce prospective parents to Rio School District's expanded dual immersion magnet program will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thurs., June 21 and Tues., June 26 at Rio Real Elementary School, 1140 Kenney St., Oxnard.

Beginning this fall, kindergarten and first-grade students countywide can enroll in the program with the goal of becoming bilingual, bi-literate and bicultural in English and Spanish.
