'Lil' Abner' opens June 22

The Camarillo Community Theatre will present the musical comedy "Li'l Abner," based on the comic strip by Andy Capp, Fri., June 22 through Sun., July 29 at 330 Skyway Drive, Camarillo, inside the airport.

Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and matinees at 2 p.m. Sundays.

The production is directed by Dean Johnson, choreographed by Jeff Wallach and produced by Janis Johnson and Adrienne Freeland. The music director is Zach Spencer

This is the first production of "Li'l Abner" in Ventura County since 1991.

Tickets are two for the price of one during the opening weekend, June 22, 23 and 24. No other discounts apply.

The theater is supporting FOOD Share all year long. Patrons who bring a nonperishable food item will receive a free bag of popcorn from the snack bar.
