School carnivals celebrate the joys of childhood

The two Camarillo boys enjoyed a day at the El Descanso Elementary School carnival last Friday. The annual event, put on by the school's parent-teacher organization, is meant to say thank you to students for a job well done. Meanwhile, at right, Ayli Tulberg, 10, of Camarillo reaches as far as she can to toss a ball into a floating cup at the carnival held at Camarillo Heights Elementary School, also on Friday. Both events encouraged family fun and togetherness.
