Somis student takes 2nd place at State Science Fair

Jessica Winter won second place in the cognitive science category at the California State Science Fair in Exposition Park last month.

Her project was "The Placebo Effect of Food Labeling." Jessica is a sixth-grader at Mesa Union Junior High School in Somis. She qualified for the state competition at the Ventura County Science Fair in April.
