17 Camarillo students receive scholarships

Seventeen students from Camarillo schools were among the 404 local recipients who received a combined $1 million in scholarships last week from the Ventura County Community Foundation.

The Camarillo scholarship recipients are Nina D. Abierra, Margaret K. Beeman, Lauren Bernstein, Elena M. Czubiak, Daniela FloresPalomino, Rebecca Glick, Carla S. Heyler (Pinuelas), Ariel Jahner, Kelsey M. Liddle, Arlene R. Martinez, Sarah L. Myers, Justin Ramos, Brian A. Rose, Kristine M. San Jose, Lena Timrott, Larry T. Tran and Darin Winter.
