'Quilt of Memories' focus of hospice memorial

"Weaving a Quilt of Memories" is the theme for Camarillo Hospice's 23rd annual memorial service at 5:30 p.m. Tues., June 5 at Mt. Cross Lutheran Church, 102 Camino Esplendido in Camarillo.

The interdenominational service includes inspirational words, music and ritual, including a candlelighting ceremony and the placement of individualized fabric hearts on the Camarillo Hospice Memorial Quilt.

Speakers include the Rev. John W. Soyster, pastor of Mt. Cross, and Juan Carlos Diaz, chaplain with VITAS Hospice. A trio led by David Van Keerskbilck will perform.
