A day of devotion

FLOWERS FOR MARY- Second-grade students from St. Mary Magdalen School in Old Town Camarillo sing songs as they gather around a statue of Mary in a "May Crowning" ceremony recently. The 40-year-old religious tradition, which includes a procession and the placing of a wreath crown of fresh flowers around the statue, marked the children's first communion.
