New West Symphony commemorates Russian composers

      The New West Symphony concluded its 12th season at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on May 19 with a program of Russian music. As conductor Boris Brott explained, "This music speaks to my roots, for I am 50 percent Russian and 50 percent German.
