TEMPLE OF MYSTERY- Camarillo resident Brian Nomi stands with his hometown newspaper in front of the Temple of Mystery in Suzhou, China. Nomi says the temple, constructed in the third century and expanded in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), is a Taoist house of worship dedicated to the four protectors of Taoist law. He says the temple has historically been a place of gathering for traveling magicians and craftsmen and is now located in a crowded bazaar area choked with vendors and souvenir sellers, which makes it difficult for worshippers to reach the shrines.
