Local theater troupe stages 'Li'l Abner'

The Camarillo Community Theatre will present the musical comedy "Li'l Abner," based on the Al Capp comic strip, Fri., June 22 through Sun., July 29 at 330 Skyway Drive, Camarillo.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

Dean Johnson is the director, Jeff Wallach choreographs, and the music director is Zach Spencer. Janis Johnson and Adrienne Freeland are the producers.

Opening weekend, June 22 through 24, is two for the price of one. No other discounts apply.

The theater is supporting FOOD Share all year long. Bring a nonperishable food item and receive a free bag of popcorn from the snack bar.
