Seabees in search of vintage cars

Owners of domestic cars and trucks made from 1900 to 1975 or imports from any year are invited to enter the 16th Seabee Days car show Sat., June 23 at Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme.

The car show is part of a weekend of activities planned for Seabee Days. Muscle and racecars of any year are also welcome.

Check-in for vehicles will be from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Judging starts at 11:30 a.m. with awards presented at 2 p.m. The car show ends at 3 p.m.

Participants should enter the base at the Sunkist Avenue gate and follow the signs.

First and secondplace trophies will be awarded in 16 categories, including best car, best paint and best sports car.
