Arellano named an editor of law journal Oxnard resident Melissa Arellano was selected as lead articles editor of Pepperdine University's Law Review Editorial Board, Vol. 35, which will be published in spring 2008. As the lead articles editor, Arellano is responsible for choosing the content and direction of the publication. Arellano's other law school accomplishments include winning first place Respondent Brief in the Dalsimer Moot Court Competition and serving as secretary of the Women's Legal Association. Arellano earned her bachelor's degree in political science and sociology from UCLA. The editorial board is composed of 14 Pepperdine School of Law students who are elected by the previous year's outgoing editors. The Pepperdine Law Review is published annually by the university's School of Law and covers contemporary legal topics. |
