Pair arrested on burglary charges

Two men were arrested April 25 on suspicion of shoplifting and burglary at several stores in the Camarillo Factory Outlet Mall.

Rene Abraham, 33, of North Hollywood and Holger Alban, 34, of the City of Commerce were arrested after employees at Oshkosh B'Gosh called police to report that two men had stolen property from the store and left in a vehicle.

The employees gave authorities the vehicle's description and license plate number.

California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Green stopped the automobile on the eastbound 101 Freeway near the Liberty Canyon Road area and detained the two men. Camarillo sheriff's deputies arrested the pair after a witness identified them.

Deputies recovered a large quantity of property that had allegedly been taken from up to 10 stores in the mall.

Abraham and Alban are being held in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail, charged with conspiracy and burglary.
