Crash under investigation

Camarillo police are investigating an April 26 traffic collision that occurred when a car crossed over the center line and struck a sport utility vehicle traveling the opposite direction on the 101 Freeway's Central Avenue overpass.

The car's driver, Ricardo Zuniga Gutierrez, 23, of Oxnard, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. on suspicion of felony drunk driving.

Gutierrez and his passenger Raul Ochoa Monzo, 20, of Oxnard, and Santa Barbara residents David Schuyler DuBourdieu, 37, the SUV's driver, and passenger Giovanna Bonasoro were taken to local hospitals. Bonasoro underwent emergency surgery for a broken arm.
