CHARMED- Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency ranger supervisor Glen Kinney, a Camarillo resident, holds a gopher snake. The snake crossed a trail in front of a group of students during the Conejo Open Space Trails Education Days in Wildwood Park in Thousand Oaks last week. Kinney said the snake, which had recently shed its skin, was about 2½ feet long and about 3 years old.
