Toy plane may have sparked fire

AIRCRAFT INCIDENT- Investigators from the Ventura County Fire Department said a downed remote control plane was the probable cause of a small brush fire near California State University at Channel Islands on Friday. The fire, which started around 3 p.m., burned less than an acre and was extinguished quickly by firefighters. No one was injured.
