County, state to host job fair for veterans

A "Hire a Hero, Hire a Vet" job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thurs., May 17 at West Oxnard Job and Career Center, 635 S. Ventura Road, Oxnard.

All job seekers are welcome to participate. The fair is intended as an opportunity for veterans who are looking for work to meet employers and find positions, according to organizers.
