Girl Scouts can train for leadership

CEO in Training helps older Girl Scouts go beyond traditional booth and door-to-door selling methods. Girls can become CEOs of their own cookie business, increase their sales and reach new markets by making sales presentations to businesses and service organizations in their neighborhoods.

Last year, the average CEO in Training participant sold 42 cases, more than 500 boxes per girl. The program focuses on girls selling cases versus individual boxes.

Participants learn business literacy skills such as accounting, marketing, customer service and goal-setting.

The CEO in Training committee is seeking companies that would allow girls to make formal presentations to their employees.
