Beating the heat

TEAM EFFORT- Ventura County Firefighter Brian Belitski, center No. 52, uses a high-pressure hose to soak hot spots at a five-acre brush fire in Somis last Wednesday. The fire started in a grove of eucalyptus trees at 5250 Kingsgrove Drive and briefly threatened a few houses but was quickly contained by the firefighters.
