Free gourd fest

The Channel Islands Gourd Society will display uniquely shaped and decorated gourds during its annual gourd art festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., May 5 at the Santa Rosa Valley Clubhouse, 11701 E. Las Posas Road, Camarillo.

Oldtime fiddlers will perform. There will be a children's workshop, a raffle drawing every hour, gourds for sale and demonstrations.
