WWII bombers to visit Camarillo

The Collings Foundation B-17, B-24 and B-25 "Wings of Freedom Tour" will make a stop at Camarillo airport around noon Wed., May 2 and will be available for tours and rides from Wednesday through Fri., May 4.

Visitors may explore the aircraft and talk to veterans visiting the planes from arrival on Wednesday until 5 p.m.; Thurs., May 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Fri., May 4 until noon.Visitors may also take a 30-minute flight aboard the aircraft. Flight experiences are a tax-deductible donation. Flights on either the B-17 or B-24 are $425 per person. Flights on the B-25 are $400 for the front fuselage and $325 for the rear fuselage.
