Woman swindled out of cash, jewels
      Police are searching for a Hispanic couple in their 30s with two young children, who reportedly scammed their way into the home of an elderly Camarillo woman on April 12 and stole $1,300 in cash and jewelry. The woman was not hurt in the robbery.

Affordable housing available in Camarillo

      Christmas may come early for 13 local families looking for affordable housing. Ventura County Housing Authority officials announced during last week's Camarillo City Council meeting that a 13-unit affordable housing project on Calle La Roda is on track for completion by early December.
