Center lists agenda of offerings for Apri
Garden party, art demonstration

The Camarillo Art Center will offer a number of events during April. The center is at 3150 Ponderosa Drive and is open weekends from 1 to 4 p.m. The center will be closed for Easter, Sat. and Sun., April 7 and 8.

+A Garden Party will be held Sat. and Sun., April 14 and 15. Members will share a potluck lunch. Artwork will be displayed on the garden fences during the party, then moved into the gallery to be viewed through Sunday.

+Artist Judy Koenig will give a demonstration at 7:30 p.m. Wed., April 18. Her presentation will be on the use of tempera, ink resist and watercolor. Refreshments will be served at 9 p.m.. A donation of $5 is requested from nonmembers.

+The annual spring judged art show, "Spring Passion," is planned April 21 through May 13. There will be a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sun., April 22, and prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. This show will display works which haven't been shown before.
