Concert to feature folk music

The Ojai Concert Series will present the folk music duo Fur Dixon and Steve Werner at 7 p.m. Wed., April 4 at the Ojai Valley Woman's Club, 441 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai.

Folkworks magazine's Larry Wines said, "They bring high energy, old-time style with modern lyrical sensibilities and a lively bluegrass feel."

Tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for will call and at 6:45 p.m. for ticket buyers. All seating is first come, first served. Ticket prices for children under 14 who are watching the show are half of a parent's ticket price. Child care will be provided in a side room for $5 per child by prearrangement only.
