Join Cesar Chavez celebration at CSUCI
Weeklong event to include art exhibit

A weeklong celebration in honor of Cesar Chavez will take place on the campus of California State University at Channel Islands and at locations throughout the community Mon. through Thurs., March 26 to 29. The Cesar Chavez Day holiday is Sat., March 31.

The celebration will include a traveling art exhibit, presentations about Chavez and his work, and information about the development of Villa Cesar Chavez Apartments. The event is presented by the office of Service Learning and Civic Engagement at the university in collaboration with campus and community organizations.
