Centrists open membership

The California Association of Political Centrists had its first meeting earlier this month. Monthly meetings are planned as it develops a charter and a candidate ranking system.

The group's goal is to ensure that "elected officials represent the community as a whole and not special interests or extreme ideology." Membership is open to the public.
