Irish dancers step their way to Scotland

Two students from the Greenway Academy of Irish Dance of Camarillo will compete at the World Irish Dance Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, in April.
Caitlin Martinez, 15, and Kathleen Mary Cunningham, 12, qualified for this honor at the Western U.S. Regional Championships last November.
Caitlin, a sophomore at Adolfo Camarillo High School, has been Irish dancing with Greenway since she began at age 7.
This is her second time qualifying for the championship, where in 2005 she finished in the top third of competitors. Caitlin's age group will compete this year on Wed., April 4 in Glasgow.
Kathleen Mary attends Monte Vista Middle School in Camarillo.
She has been studying Irish Dance for four years, and with the Greenway Academy for the last year and a half. Kathleen Mary will compete in Glasgow Sun., April 1.
The Greenway Academy, under the direction of Camarillo resident Jacqueline Probst Greenway, has sent qualifying solo dancers or figure dance teams to the World Championships for more than 10 years. The studio is at 487-A Calle San Pablo, Camarillo.
