Agency announces programs for seniors NP The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging has released the agency's plan for new and ongoing programs and funding priorities for the period of July 1, 2007, through June 30, 2008. The plan, titled "2008 Summary of the Draft Area Plan Update," may be viewed at www.countyofventura.org and at 646 County Square Drive, Ste. 100, in Ventura, during regular business hours. A reference copy has been made available to each public library in the county. Anyone wanting to comment on the proposed activities, which include Program Development and Coordination activities, may do so at a public hearing or in writing. The public hearing will be at 10 a.m. Fri., April 13 in the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging office at the above address. An English/Spanish translator will be available at the hearing. Any person requiring accommodations to participate in the public hearing, as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act, should call (805) 477-7305 by 4 p.m. April 6.
