Police seek gunmen in two separate crimes
      Police are still searching for a man who robbed a Shell gas station at gunpoint around 11:45 p.m. on Thurs., March 15. No one was hurt in the late night robbery.

      The West County Gang Unit has established a Gang Tip Hotline so that residents can report ongoing gang activity in unincorporated neighborhoods of West Ventura County. The Gang Tip Hotline, (888) 58GANGS (5842647), was created to allow residents to anonymously report ongoing gang activity.

Audubon plans April field trips
      The Ventura Audubon Society will conduct birding field trips in April. Beginners are welcome on all field trips, and rain cancels any trip. During April, the group will sponsor a fundraising birdathon. Any scheduled trip in April may be used to pledge money per species seen.
