Partnership dinner to fund scholarships

The 2007 Business and Technology Partnership Leadership Dinner will be 5:30 p.m. Tues, April 24, 2007 at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard.

The partnership promotes and fosters collaboration between California State University at Channel Islands and businesses in Ventura, Santa Barbara and northern Los Angeles counties, and promotes technological excellence among the university's students, faculty and staff.

Each year, the partnership honors local business people and CSUCI faculty members, and awards scholarships to students.

In addition, at the event the committee will select its 2007 Faculty Leader of the Year.

Proceeds from the dinner will fund scholarships for university students. Five $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to CSUCI transfer and junior status students.
