Pleasant Valley school to celebrate 50th birthday
April event to include barbecue

Camarillo Heights Elementary School is celebrating its 50th anniversary during the 2006-07 school year. A schoolwide assembly will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., April 27 with birthday cake for all. That evening there will be an adultsonly event. A family barbecue will take place Sat., April 28 at the school as a community and alumni celebration.

All those interested in being part of the celebration should call the Cam Heights School office at (805)482-9838 and ask for Becky Radwan, or e-mail cbjordahl@pvsd.k12.ca.us. Provide name, address, phone number and e-mail.

Organizers are collecting school artifacts, pictures, newsletters and other items from the past 50 years. All items will be copied and returned. Bring the memorabilia to the school office at 35 Catalina Drive.
