Family coach to speak

Tim Smith will present a lecture based on his book, "The Danger of Raising Nice Kids," from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Tues., March 27 at Mount Cross Lutheran Church, 102 Camino Esplendido, Camarillo.

Smith is a research fellow with the George H. Gallup International Institute of Princeton and has written several books based on the research he developed with Gallup. In the lecture, he will discuss strengthening parental leadership to ensure raising capable, competent children.

The cost is $5 per person or $8 per couple at the door. Free child care will be provided and light refreshment will be available. The public is invited.
