County commission openings

Ventura County Supervisor Kathy Long has openings on the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Commission. Applicants should be residents of the Third District, which covers Camarillo, Port Hueneme, southeast Oxnard, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Piru and Lockwood Valley.

Commission members have the opportunity to advise county staff and communitybased service providers on the needs and quality of services received through county programs.

Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the multipurpose room, 1911 Williams Drive, Oxnard. The board does not meet in July, August or December.
