Lions Club to offer $2,000 in scholarships

Pleasant Valley Lions Club is offering $2,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors who lived in Camarillo or Somis this past school year and plan on attending a university, community college or technical/trade school within the next school year.

Applications must be received by April 6.

Applicants will be evaluated based on community service, work experience, written essay, a grade point average of 2.5 to 3.5 and two letters of recommendation.
