Voodoo Daddy to perform

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy will perform at the second annual Art Stars Awards Reception and Benefit Concert Sun., April 22 at the Oceanview Pavilion, 575 E. Surfside Drive, Port Hueneme.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a preconcert reception and silent auction in the lobby. The reception will feature a no-host bar, auction packages and an exhibit of nautical artwork.

Tickets will go on sale March 12 and are $45 in advance or $50 at the door. Tickets can be purchased through the Oceanview Pavilion box office or by calling (805) 986-4818.

Proceeds from the event, sponsored by the Ventura County Arts Council, will support the Ventura County Partnership for the Cultural Arts Fund.

Sponsorships are invited from the community. The council also seeks auction items.
