BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers CONSTRUCTION BEGINS- Veterans from across the country, including Erling Husby of Shoreview, Minn. attended groundbreaking ceremonies for the U. S. Navy Seabee Museum at Naval Base Ventura County Port Hueneme. The new 35,000-square-foot museum, expected to open in 2009, will be dedicated to honoring and commemorating the extraordinary accomplishments of the Navy Civil Engineer Corps and its construction battalion Seabees.
