Career day for girls at Pacifica

Brighter Horizons Career Day for fifth- through 12th-grade girls in Ventura County will be March 10 on the campus of Pacifica High School.

Guest speakers will present information to students in workshops. Goodie bags with a variety of items, including snacks, water bottles and a surprise gift, will be presented to each student.

The American Association of University Women-Camarillo Branch sponsors the event for hundreds of girls biennially.

Members of the community and local businesses are welcome to help fund the project.

To sponsor a student, a taxdeductible check for a student's entry fee of $8 may be made out to AAUW and sent to the American Association of University Women, P.O. Box 862, Camarillo, CA 93011.
