Supports Camarillo Heights

Camarillo Heights School is the only school north of Los Posas. Some of the "scenarios" proposed by the committee to recommend school closures include Camarillo Heights because of its age.

The PTC of Camarillo Heights raised over $80,000 in nine months for a technology lab and receive many grants for our programs. This group of parents is serious about providing the necessary support.

Sending children walking across Los Posas to attend other "neighborhood" schools puts lives at risk. The upgrades to the school because it is old are worth it to not jeopardize one child's life.

Not all schools are the same. The district is willing to accommodate "alternative schools" and yet our size and location is our alternative choice. Keep the kids at Camarillo Heights safe. Natorae Wettstein Camarillo
