AERIAL VIEW- The Ventura County Fire Department recently acquired a $750,000 hook and ladder truck with a 100-foot ladder. The department also took ownership of a $457,000 urban search and rescue truck. Capt. Mel Lovo said the two state-of-the-art trucks stationed in Camarillo will replace a pair of older vehicles that will probably be put up for auction.
