STRONG EFFORT- Paul Sailer of Camarillo, who underwent his second surgery for brain cancer last year, rides along Potrero Road in Thousand Oaks as he participates in the Breakaway From Cancer 25 Mile Charity Bike Ride hosted by Amgen in Thousand Oaks recently. More than 600 riders paid a registration fee of $75 and many also had sponsors. About 1.4 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
