Auditions to open for 'Fiddler Jr.'

Curtain Call Youth Theatre, the resident youth theater of Camarillo Community Theatre, is holding open auditions for young actors and actresses ages 10 to 19 for their production of "Fiddler on the Roof Jr." Auditions will be held Tues., Feb. 13 and Wed., Feb. 14 by appointment only at the theater.

Those auditioning should prepare a song from a musical theater production. An accompanist will be provided. Music should be in the correct key, and the performer will need to be prepared to move and read from the script. Songs from the show are preferable.

Rehearsals will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning Feb. 20. Not all actors will be needed for all rehearsals.

Performances of "Fiddler on the Roof Jr." will be May 18 through 27, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
