Offers praise for Deputy Beauvais

I would like to thank you for your article regarding the Camarillo Police Department on campuses, and especially in profiling Sheriff's Dep. Ed Beauvais.

Having children at Las Posas, I have had the opportunity to meet Dep. Beauvais as well as observe his visits to the campus. Giving children a positive view of law enforcement is an invaluable service and much appreciated by this parent.

Last week, my fourth-grader came home excited to discuss Dep. Beauvais's "Stranger Danger" presentation in his classroom and safety measures he had learned from him.
