Alma Via focuses on the holistic approach

Holistic Health is the focus of an upcoming free interactive workshop at AlmaVia of Camarillo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 15 at 2500 Ponderosa Drive, North.

Led by Jeanine Sofra, the owner of Smiling Hands Healing Hearts based in Ojai, participants will learn about effective techniques of holistic health including touch therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology, healing massages and other holistic approaches to healing.

In business for 30 years, Sofra will demonstrate techniques specifically for the feet during the workshop. "The feet are the roots of our existence and hold everything up," said Sofra. "It's very important to heal the feet in order for the body to function properly."
