At an office meeting at Prudential California Realty's Oxnard/Channel Islands branch, owner/ broker Bob Majorino stood before his audience of agents and management team members and presented an idea newly adopted by the company. With a flip chart by his side, Majorino described a series of goals. The first item written on the chart was "Individual Success." The next was "Success of the Office as a Team." He then presented the "Prudential Partners" concept.

Prudential California Realty has formed an affiliation with three inhouse partners to provide clients with customer service and convenience. The first is the PCR Media Center. Located in a hightech studio at the PCR Thousand Oaks Regional Office, manager Bill Candela and his staff produce marketing materials for the 260 plus agents at Prudential California Realty. Media Center services are offered to agents at a price below market value, and the in-house capabilities provide instant marketing fliers for agent listings, brochures to promote the agents themselves, a monthly newsletter for agents to send to their clientele and other benefits to assist PCR's agents in maintaining a competitive edge.

A second affiliate is Unitek Financial, an entity that has devoted nearly ten years in supporting PCR's financial needs. With veteran Kelly McKinney addressing the meeting, attendees were reminded that each agent receives Unitek's priority. There are free credit reports, prequalifications, crossselling referrals, post-sale postcards and other strategies to decrease agent workload and facilitate client transactions. Perhaps most important is that the professional support provided by Unitek ensures that PCR agents have an educated, knowledgeable team handling the financial end of their clients' needs.

Next is Affirmative Escrow, managed by Brynne Bradbrook, with branches in several PCR offices. Again, the offerings are specifically targeted toward agents and clients. With an escrow officer on call Saturdays and Sundays, weekend escrow consultation services are available. Net sheets are provided for sellers, cost sheets for buyers, plus loan fees, figures and more. Client/agent service and a "handshake" relationship with Unitek are the hallmarks of Affirmative's professionalism, eliminating any guesswork or trepidation on behalf of PCR's real estate professionals and their clientele. Affirmative is also dedicated to ongoing agent education, keeping abreast of a fluid market and up-to-the-minute trends while providing an upbeat atmosphere and professionalism on behalf of PCR.

All three entities- the Media Center, Unitek and Affirmative- are available to PCR agents for contact whenever necessary and are mutually committed to accountability through teamwork.
