Chamber offers home buying course

The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce has created the Chamber Home Buying School, an educational series to support employers in informing their employees about programs that are available to finance the purchase of a home.

The classes provide housing and finance information for all income levels, with options for families which earn between $55,000 and $112,000.

The course includes a free credit report and FICO score, along with a free housing budgeting analysis.

Classes are held monthly at the Chamber of Commerce office, 2400 E. Ventura Blvd.

To reserve a seat in the next class, call (805) 484-4383 or e-mail Lisa@CamarilloChamber.org.

The school is a project of the Chamber's economic development committee and housing task force in cooperation with TheHomeBuyingSchool.com.

The goal of the task force is to effect public policy that will lead to more housing options for employees of Camarillo area businesses and to provide practical solutions to Chamber members and other area businesses.
