Dial named head of Hospice, Livingston Memorial

Lanyard K. Dial, MD, has become the director of Hospice and the full-time medical director of Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association. He is the first fulltime physician to serve as director of hospice services.

A longtime Ventura County resident, Dial said, "My goal is to ensure that seniors in Ventura County have access to the highest quality home care and hospice services by growing and expanding the services" of the association.

Dial has served on a part-time basis as the association's home health and hospice medical director since 1985 and on the board of directors since 1993.

Livingstone Memorial Visiting Nurse Association is a nonprofit agency that has served county residents since 1947, providing home health nursing and hospice care with a team of licensed and certified healthcare professionals.
