Sometime between Dec. 16 and 27, someone broke into a home in the 400 block of Sereno Place and stole an undisclosed amount of property.

A thief took more than $400 in property from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2100 block of El Rancho Drive sometime between Dec. 22 and 30.

Sometime between Dec. 23 and 26, someone stole the gas tank from a truck parked in the 400 block of Constitution Avenue.

Someone smashed the window of a vehicle parked on the 2800 block of Dumetz Street and tried to steal the car stereo on Dec. 30.

A vandal smashed the window of a vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Kimberly Avenue sometime between Dec. 29 and 30.

A man was arrested after he threw beer bottles at a vehicle parked on the 5200 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard. around 9 p.m. on Dec. 31.

A thief broke the window of a truck parked on the 200 block of Caragena Street and stole an iPod from the center console sometime between Dec. 30 and 31. At the same home, the thief also took another iPod and a cellphone from an unlocked truck, more than $500 worth of property.

Someone caused over $400 in damage to a vehicle parked on the 1400 block of Spyglass Way and stole over $400 in property from inside the vehicle sometime between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

A shoplifter was caught trying to steal four watches from the Kmart store at 940 Arneill Road on Jan. 1.
